At Lopez Sound Cleaning, we are dedicated to family and friends, building local communities, and preserving the environment. We do so by providing full cleaning service and vacation rental support for people who share those values.

OUR JOURNEY

With two decades of business management and customer service experience behind her, founder Keri Sausman noticed an unmet need within Lopez’s growing economy. A cleaning company that upheld local values, employed local talent, and used products that honored the surrounding, stunning environment.

What began in 2013 with a feather duster and five eager cleaners has since become the island’s leading cleaning company. Today, Lopez Sound Cleaning employs over 15 islanders and oversees cleaning for over 40 properties.

Lopez Sound Cleaning believes that on Lopez and elsewhere, everything is interconnected. The lasting effects of a company on the surrounding community stem from the interpersonal.

VACATION RENTAL CLEANS

• Online scheduling
• Cleaning reminders
• Clean house (kitchen, bathroom, floors)
• Do all laundry
• Make beds and set up linen
• Clean windows
• Remove trash
• Check heat
• Check for damaged or missing items
• Check all lights and batteries (remote, fire alarms)
• Check supplies and inventory
• Clean outside sitting areas
• Sweep entree way
• Lock up the house and return the keys
• Notify you when the cleaning is complete

VACATION RENTAL SERVICES

Let us be your on-island contact so you can rest assured that your guest and home are in good hands. We offer a variety of services that suit you and your guests’ needs, including but not limited to:

• Check-in on your guest
• Be on-call for anything that might come up (instructions, general questions)
• Provide in-person instructions
• Offer general maintenance
• Provide house calls
• Offer supply runs
• Offer a concierge service to help guide your guest on the island

• Trash removal (any day of the week)
• Carpet cleaning (professional dry carpet cleaning)
• Handyman (if we can’t do it, we know who can!)
